During the international presentation of BMW X6 the officials of the company confirmed that the hybrid version of car will appear next year. The nice thing is that the X6 will be the first BMW hybrid car with dual mode supply of energy system. Unlike other similar development, the BMW would not involve the engine cylinder deactivation.

It turns out that by 2009 a dual-mode hybrid will appear, but so far no data on how mach exactly it will save. And this is quite surprising.
