At the Detroit auto show all the models by Chrysler in using electric ENVI (unit of Chrysler). All development is based on the technology of lithium-ion batteries. The first car shown was a Dodge Circuit EV. It’s fully electric sport car that can travel at a one charge up to 200 miles. Circuit lands to any lover of high speeds. It can disperse up to 100km / h in less than 5 seconds, and its speed limit is almost 125 mi / h. And all this without a single drop of petrol!

Chrysler introduced the new Jeep Patriot EV, which is able to travel up to 400 miles. At one electric motor, it can drive around 40 miles. Which means that most short trips will be absolutely no cost of fuel.

Among the new Chrysler models was Town & County EV, which company announced as a perfect economical family car. The Executive Vice President of Product Development said: «25 years ago, Chrysler invented the minivan, and now with electric ENVI we made the favorite American minivan again».

Another model, presented under the brand name Jeep, was new Wrangler Unlimited EV. According to representatives of the company it would allow travel across the globe, taking care of it at the same time. This model still has only a front-wheel drive, but Chrysler and ENVI are working under a full drive system.

Chrysler also introduced unexpected concept of 200C EV. It’s a family sedan with futuristic features.
